ULTIMATE Ski Resorts Guide is an independent guide for visitors to Ski resorts of Europe and North America. We publish 9 curated lists: hotels & chalets, restaurants & huts, après-ski, passes & ski schools, ski shops, spas, getting there, learn & train and ski property. We cover the ski resorts of Europe and North America country by country, with Japan to follow.

Our editor

Jai Michael is Editor-in-Chief of the ULTIMATE City Guides. With more than 25 years in the media industry, he founded ABSOLUTE brighton and London TV, and has worked with leading luxury brands around the world.

How we choose

Every place in our lists has been checked against its own website or an official source such as the resort, the lift company, the tourism office or the airport. We don’t use review scores, and nobody can pay to be included. MICHELIN distinctions are quoted only from the official MICHELIN Guide.

Before you go

Season dates, lift times and prices change with the snow. Please check with the lift company and each place directly before you travel.
