Where to stay, every budget
Who it suits. On a budget: Beginner day passes cost €26 for adults and €15.50 for children, seniors born in 1956 or before ski for €8 a day, and family pensions in Arties and Vielha keep the nights affordable (baqueira.es, 2026/27). Mid-range: Four-star hotels at the lifts, Hotel Montarto or Chalet Bassibé, or the Parador in Arties, seven kilometres down the valley, until it closes for works on 1 March 2027. Luxury: Hotel Val de Neu, the only five-star Grand Luxury hotel in the heart of the resort, 50 metres from the gondola, with Moët Winter Lounge and the Cinco Jotas Grill on the mountain.
