Hotel Chalet Bassibé is a four-star mountain hotel on the Beret road at 1,700 metres, with views over the Baqueira valley and the Esquirós chairlift 100 metres away. Bassibé sits higher than most of Baqueira’s hotels, at the 1,700-metre level on the Beret road, and looks over the whole valley. The Esquirós chairlift is 100 metres from the door, there is a ski room, and the hotel runs a shuttle to the Val d’Aran slopes.
Pool, sauna and jacuzzi
The wellness side is small and well judged: a heated pool with an outdoor jacuzzi built into it, so you can sit in the warm water with the snow around you, and a Finnish sauna. Massages are available on request; ask at reception when you arrive.

Eating and drinking
Breakfast is a buffet, and dinner is served in the hotel restaurant. A bar-cafeteria covers the rest of the day, and the lounge with its fireplace is where the evening begins. Room service is available.
Our advice: ask for a room facing the valley, take the first chair from Esquirós, and finish the day in the outdoor jacuzzi before dinner by the fire.
