About Heavenly Gondola and observation deck
Begun in 1998, the Heavenly Gondola links the Heavenly Village in town directly with the mountain. Café Blue serves snacks and drinks on the observation deck at the mid-station, and Tamarack Lodge waits at the top. Non-skiers can ride it for the views of Lake Tahoe.
