About Sierra Nevada beginner and family areas
Sierra Nevada recommends dedicated initiation slopes for first-timers. Families have the Shark Fun Trail, marked with sea creatures, reached by the Emile Allais chairlift and the Alhambra chairlift; the Kidspark in the Sulayr snowpark for a safe first taste of freestyle; and the Minipark for learning snowboard tricks. The Alpine Garden combines ski activities with play for children aged 3 (out of nappies) to 12, and the Cole de la Nieve kindergarten in Pradollano looks after children from four months to six years.
