The Rud-Alpe sits directly on the Schlegelkopf runs (200/201) at 1,560 metres and can also be reached on foot from Lech or Oberlech. Lunch runs from a Brettljause snack to Kaiserschmarren; in winter it holds hut gourmet evenings by candlelight.
