The old village lines the Gotthardstrasse between the station and the Gemsstock cable car, with traditional houses and inns from the days of the Gotthard route. Property in Switzerland is subject to the Lex Koller rules on purchases by people abroad; a proposal to tighten them was put out for consultation in 2026 and has not been adopted. We never publish property prices.
