About Getting to Whistler

Whistler is about two hours’ drive north of Vancouver on Highway 99, the Sea-to-Sky. Most visitors fly into Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and transfer by coach: YVR Skylynx’s winter 2026/27 timetable runs from 22 November 2026 to 19 April 2027.

By coach: YVR Skylynx’s winter timetable (22 November 2026 – 19 April 2027) schedules standard coaches from YVR to Whistler in 3 hours, via downtown Vancouver and Squamish, and express coaches in 2 hours 15 minutes; the company quotes CAD 32 one-way and CAD 42 return. Coaches meet at the Skylynx kiosk in international arrivals and stop at Whistler’s Gateway Loop near the visitor centre.

By car: the Sea-to-Sky Highway (Highway 99) climbs from Horseshoe Bay past Squamish to Whistler. In winter check DriveBC (drivebc.ca) for conditions and the winter-tyre rules on designated routes before you set off.
