About Marco Polo Hotel Gudauri
The Marco Polo has welcomed skiers to Gudauri since 1988 and stands at 2,003 metres, close to the first ski lift, ski-in, ski-out. It has 123 rooms and three chalets, a spa with saunas, a 16 x 8 m indoor pool and an outdoor pool at 35°C, the Soliko restaurant, two bars, bowling, padel, tennis and a kids’ club.
Gudauri’s first hotel
The Marco Polo was the first hotel in Gudauri, on the Georgian Military Road high in the Caucasus, and has been open since 1988. It stands at 2,003 metres beside the first ski lift, so you ski in and out, with ski and snowboard rental, passes and instructors, including children’s instructors, arranged at extra charge.
The spa and pools
The Marco Polo Spa and Wellness Center is on the first floor. The indoor pool measures 16 x 8 m, 1.5 m deep, at 28–30°C; the outdoor pool, 8 x 4 m, is heated to 35°C for a swim in the snow. There are saunas and a treatment menu of massages, body wraps and facials, booked at the spa desk, with robes, slippers and towels provided. Spa, saunas, pools and the gym all open 8am–10pm.

Rooms and chalets
There are 123 rooms over three floors, with mountain or garden views: Standard and Superior rooms, Junior Suites, Standard and Deluxe Family rooms and the Executive Suite. Three chalets, Chalet “Sno”, give families and groups a house of their own.
Eating and drinking
Soliko, the signature restaurant, cooks Georgian and European dishes. The Lounge Bar and the Chimney Bar, with its fire, take care of the evening.
Families and play
There is a kids’ club, bowling, billiards, padel and tennis, which makes the Marco Polo an easy choice for families and for days when the weather closes the mountain.
Our advice: book a Deluxe Family room or a chalet, swim in the outdoor pool after the last run, and keep one evening for Georgian dishes at Soliko.
