About Mechi Chal ski area
The chairlift rises from the base at 1,155 m via a mid-station at 1,525 m, so the upper runs stay open when lower snow is thin. Runs 1, 2 and the bypasses have snowmaking; runs 3, 4, 4A, 5 and 7 are uncategorised and skied at your own risk. Five rental shops, three small ski schools and six restaurants sit at the base and near the top. A Pamporovo pass works here, and a shuttle runs from Malina and the Tourist Center before the lifts open; ticket office 8:30–16:30.
