1,987 m, Poland’s first cable car

About Kasprowy Wierch

PKL’s cable car runs from Kuźnice to the summit of Kasprowy Wierch in about 20 minutes, with a change at Myślenickie Turnie, every 10 minutes (every 30 in poor weather or when quiet). At the top, the four-seat Gąsienicowa chairlift and the two-seat Goryczkowa chairlift serve the two cirques, and a 3,500-metre ski trail leads down from Hala Goryczkowa. The runs are not snowmade or lit, and they suit confident skiers. Return tickets stop selling two hours before the last car.
