About Ski Centar Mavrovo (Zare Lazarevski)
Ski Centar Mavrovo, in the municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuše about 100 km from Skopje, runs the Zare Lazarevski ski area on Mount Bistra. Its three chairlifts and eleven drag lifts serve pistes from 1,255 to 1,860 metres on natural and machine-made snow, with views over the mountains and the lake, and the slopes are lit for night skiing every Friday and Saturday. The national park adds a ski school, snow groomers, ski patrol and cafés along the pistes.
