For winter 2026/27, the Garmisch-Classic day pass costs €69 online or €72 at the ticket office (adults), and the Zugspitze day pass €70.50 online or €78 on site. Online tickets in advance are cheaper, and on fine days, school holidays and public holidays the day’s quota at the ticket offices can sell out. The Twin-Ticket gives two days, at Garmisch-Classic, at the Zugspitze or one of each.

Children under 6 ski at no charge with a parent (but need a ticket in ski lessons); children 6–15 pay the child rate, youths 16–18 the youth rate, and families with children up to 18 get family rates. There are no senior discounts.

A morning pass for Garmisch-Classic (until 1 pm) costs €55.50, except from 24 December 2026 to 10 January 2027 and 6 to 14 February 2027; an afternoon pass from noon is sold only at the ticket office. The Kinderlandticket for the children’s area costs €43 for adults and €21.50 for children.

The Zugspitze ski season is expected to run from 27 November 2026 to 2 May 2027; Garmisch-Classic from mid-December to 29 March 2027.

Our advice: buy online the day before to save and to secure your place, and keep the Zugspitze for clear, cold days.
