About Getting to Andermatt

You reach the Ursern Valley by train via Göschenen, where the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn takes you on to Andermatt, Hospental and Realp. Andermatt station is central, with an underpass to the Gütsch-Express, the village and Andermatt Reuss, and luggage lockers. Andermatt Swiss Alps gives about 2 hours from Zurich Airport and 2½ hours from Milan Malpensa.

By car: Andermatt, Hospental and Realp are reached from Göschenen through the Schöllenen Gorge, off the A2 Gotthard route. In summer the Gotthard, Oberalp, Furka and Susten passes add other ways in; check road conditions and pass openings before you travel.

By coach: in winter, Twerenbold and Auto AG Uri run extra coach connections to Andermatt from various regions of Switzerland.
