About The St. Regis Aspen Resort

The St. Regis Aspen Resort stands at the base of Aspen Mountain on East Dean Street, a stroll from Aspen’s boutiques and restaurants. It has 154 rooms, 22 suites and 3 specialty suites, the 15,000 sq ft RAKxa Wellness Spa, a 24-hour heated outdoor pool, Velvet Buck and Mountain Social Bar & Lounge.

At the base of Aspen Mountain

The St. Regis Aspen Resort stands at 315 East Dean Street, at the foot of Aspen Mountain, with historic Aspen’s boutiques and restaurants a short walk away. The hotel describes its style as rustic elegance, and the St. Regis traditions run through the day, from the house Bloody Mary, here the Downhill Snapper with dill, basil and citrus, to champagne sabering at dusk.

RAKxa Wellness Spa

RAKxa takes its name from a Thai word meaning to conserve, to guard and to cherish. The spa covers 15,000 sq ft, and its water circuit has a cold plunge, a steam room, a hot tub and a grotto, with a fireside relaxation room; the Confluence is designed to recall Colorado’s hot springs. The lounges have individual oxygen stations, teas and infused waters.

Rustic elegance at the base of Aspen Mountain, in the hotel’s words.

Treatments include 111SKIN facials, Thai-inspired massages such as the RAKxa Sleep Well ritual and a hot-stone massage, and newer technology: the Ammortal Chamber of infrared and red light, and Aescape robotic massage. Locker rooms and the heated outdoor pool are included with every treatment or with an Amenity Day Pass. The fitness centre is open 24 hours, with Technogym equipment and a studio for guided classes.

Rooms and suites

There are 154 guest rooms, 22 suites and 3 specialty suites, with marble bathrooms and Frette robes; Grand Deluxe rooms can come with a balcony. Suite guests have the St. Regis Butler Service, from unpacking and packing to morning coffee or tea, pressing and shoeshine. The St. Regis Residences add homes a few steps from the slopes.

Eating and drinking

Velvet Buck cooks with local, seasonal ingredients and serves breakfast every day. Mountain Social Bar & Lounge is open all year for signature cocktails and the daily champagne sabering, and hosts Après Tea from Thursday to Saturday. The Pool Bar & Patio closes for the winter season, but the 24-hour heated pool and hot tubs stay open.

Our advice: ski down to the door, head straight for the cold plunge and the grotto, and book Après Tea at Mountain Social between Thursday and Saturday.
