About The Village at Breckenridge

The Village at Breckenridge is a family-friendly condominium resort at the base of Peak 9, steps from the Quicksilver lift and a short walk from Main Street. Its five buildings hold studios to four-bedroom condos, with a leisure centre housing a heated indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs, a steam room, sauna and fitness centre.

At the Peak 9 base

The Village stands right at the base of Peak 9, with the Quicksilver lift steps away and Main Street, the gondola and the Riverwalk Center within an easy walk. The plaza has food trucks and games, the children’s ski school checks in on site, and Breck Sports and Christy Sports rent skis on the property, with overnight ski storage on the plaza.

Pool, hot tubs and sauna

The leisure centre, on the first floor of the Peak 9 Inn, is the heart of the resort. The indoor/outdoor pool is heated to 84–86°F, with a shallow area, a children’s slide and water features; three outdoor hot tubs at 104°F and a large soaking tub sit alongside. The pool and hot tubs open from 10am to 10pm, as do the steam room and dry sauna; there is no lifeguard, and children under 15 must be supervised. The fitness centre and leisure centre, with a fireplace, games and pool table, open from 7am to 10pm, and there are movie and game rooms to reserve.

True ski-in/ski-out convenience with an easy walk to Main Street, in The Village’s words.

The condominiums

The five buildings are connected through the garage. The Peak 9 Inn, or Liftside, has 115 studios of around 400 sq ft; Shavano, Antero and Wetterhorn have one- to three-bedroom condos; and the Chateaux, the newest building, two- to four-bedroom condos. Condos are individually owned and furnished, many with fireplaces, balconies and views of the slopes and the Tenmile Range; two-bedroom units range from about 900 to 1,200 sq ft.

Eating and drinking

Sauce on the Maggie is on the plaza, with grills on site for cooking out, and Main Street’s restaurants are a short walk.

Our advice: choose a Wetterhorn or Shavano condo with a mountain view for a family, and let the children loose in the pool after ski school.
