About Grands Montets ski area
The Grands Montets, above Argentière, offers big vertical drops beside the glaciers between 1,235 m and 2,800 m. This winter the Lognan and Grands Montets cable cars stay closed and the area is reached by the Plan Joran gondola; the new Argentière–Lognan gondola opens for Christmas 2026.
