About Park Hotel Suisse & Spa
Since 1930 the owners of the Park Hotel Suisse have welcomed visitors from around the world, now in the fourth generation. In the heart of Chamonix, it has 68 rooms on five floors and a spa on the roof with a heated outdoor pool, two hot tubs, two saunas, a hammam, a panoramic terrace and two Payot treatment rooms, included for hotel guests.
In the heart of Chamonix
The Park Hotel Suisse has welcomed guests since 1930 with a single watchword, hospitality, and the same family is now in its fourth generation. It stands in the centre of Chamonix, steps from the shops and the life of the town, in a style that is both mountain and modern.
The spa on the roof
The spa is on the roof, unique in Chamonix as the hotel says, facing the mountains. There is a heated outdoor pool, two hot tubs, two saunas, a hammam and a panoramic terrace with a summer bar, and two treatment rooms using Payot products. Access is included for hotel guests during their stay. Children aged 3–16 are welcome from 10.30am to 12.30pm only, and children under three are not admitted. A fitness room with rowing machine, cardio equipment and weights is open to guests.
“The mountain gives us the setting; it is up to us to invent the story that goes with it,” in the hotel’s words.
Rooms
There are 68 rooms over five floors: Standard, Superior, Comfort, Deluxe, Family and Suites, some with exceptional views of the Mont Blanc massif and the Brévent. The new Deluxe rooms have been renovated in contemporary Alpine style, with natural wood, a sitting corner and a walk-in shower. Two rooms are adapted for guests with reduced mobility.
Eating and drinking
Breakfast is a generous buffet, with smoked salmon prepared in-house, crêpes and Savoyard produce. In the evening, from 6.45pm to 9.15pm, the restaurant serves Savoyard dishes, fondue and croûte, alongside lighter seasonal plates. The bar has a fire in winter and a terrace in summer.
Our advice: ask for a Deluxe room with a Mont Blanc view, and go up to the rooftop pool at the end of the ski day.
