About Zugspitze glacier ski area
The Zugspitze ski area is famous for perfectly groomed natural snow. Its runs lie on the plateau at about 2,600 metres, between the Schneefernerkopf (2,874 m), the Wetterwandeck (2,698 m) and the Zugspitze (2,962 m), and the season is expected from 27 November 2026 to 2 May 2027. Reach it by the cogwheel train from Garmisch-Partenkirchen or by the Cable car Zugspitze from the Eibsee.
