About Zugspitze cogwheel train
Running since 1930, the cogwheel train departs from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen station and travels via Grainau and Eibsee to the Zugspitzplatt glacier station; a new Zugspitzbahn station opened in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in December 2020.
