About Alpenroyal

Alpenroyal stands on Via Meisules in Selva di Val Gardena, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World with 54 rooms and suites. Its Spa & Beauty covers about 5,000 m², reserved for hotel guests, with indoor and outdoor pools and six saunas and steam baths, and the Alpenroyal Gourmet Restaurant, under Mario Porcelli, holds a MICHELIN star.

In Selva

Alpenroyal stands at Via Meisules 43 in Selva di Val Gardena, among the Dolomites of South Tyrol. Rooms are traditional or modern, in wood and natural materials, and most look out to the mountains or the park.

Spa & Beauty

The spa covers about 5,000 m² and is reserved for hotel guests. There are heated indoor and outdoor pools and whirlpools at different temperatures, all facing the Dolomites, and six saunas and steam baths. Lounges range from light-filled to secluded, with water beds and heated benches. Fitness World has Technogym equipment and large windows to the peaks. Treatments use Maria Galland products, with massages, facials and Alpine rituals.

A culinary journey between the Mediterranean and the Dolomites, in the hotel’s words.

Rooms and suites

There are 54 rooms and suites. The single room measures 20 m² and the Single De Luxe 50 m²; the small double 26 m² and the Double De Luxe 30–34 m², facing the park. The Juniorsuite (50 m², traditional) and Juniorsuite De Luxe (48 m², modern) take up to four, the Alpenroyal Suite has 50 m² with a separate bedroom, and the VIP Suite measures 55 m². Selected rooms connect for families.

Eating and drinking

The Alpenroyal Gourmet Restaurant holds a MICHELIN star; chef Mario Porcelli’s cooking travels between the Mediterranean and the Dolomites. Le Stuben is the hotel restaurant, and there is the AlpenBISTRO, a Fondue Stube, a piano bar and lounge, and a vinotheque.

Families

The Miniclub Alpenprince is open all day, with a climbing wall, a soft-play area, foosball, mini hockey, table tennis, board games and PlayStation.

Our advice: book a Juniorsuite for the mountain view, swim outdoors after the Sellaronda, and reserve the Gourmet Restaurant for one evening.
