The Summit Hotel stands slopeside at the foot of Lone Mountain in Big Sky’s Mountain Village. It offers hotel rooms, condos with full kitchens and penthouses, the Refuge wellness area with a Himalayan salt sauna and indoor/outdoor hot tub, Peaks Chophouse & Wine Lounge and Carabiner.

The Summit Hotel stands slopeside in the heart of Big Sky’s Mountain Village, at the foot of Lone Mountain; Big Sky Resort, which runs it, promises mornings of Lone Peak in the alpenglow. The hotel is connected to the Huntley Lodge for shopping and dining.

Refuge

Refuge at the Summit Hotel is a small wellness area built around a sequence of rituals: the warmth of a Himalayan salt sauna, the chill of a cold shower, and a heated indoor/outdoor hot tub looking out at Lone Peak.

Rooms and suites

Accommodation ranges from two-queen and king hotel rooms to condos and penthouses with full kitchens, living and dining rooms, and one-bedroom and one-bedroom-plus-loft layouts; some room types sleep up to eight.

Eating and drinking

Peaks Chophouse & Wine Lounge and Carabiner are on site, with a lounge atmosphere and a patio facing Lone Peak.

Ski services

Big Sky Sports fits high-performance ski and snowboard rentals in the hotel, outdoor parking is included and there is underground valet parking. Pets are not allowed at the Summit.

Our advice: book a condo or penthouse for space and a kitchen, and end each day in the Refuge hot tub facing Lone Peak.
