About Hotel Monti Spa & Wellness
Hotel Monti is a four-star on Veliko polje on Igman, the Olympic mountain above Sarajevo, 1 km from the Olympic ski jumps and 4 km from the Bjelašnica ski centre. It has 65 rooms and suites, the Six Sense Spa with a 25-metre indoor pool, saunas and a jacuzzi, the Insieme restaurant and four bars and lounges.
On Igman
Monti stands on Veliko polje, the high meadow of Igman, Sarajevo’s other Olympic mountain, a kilometre from the Olympic ski jumps and 4 km from the Bjelašnica ski centre, with a shuttle bus on request. Its Montini ski area is designed for children and beginners.
The Six Sense Spa
The spa is built around a 25 × 5 m indoor pool, 1.40 m deep and heated to 28 °C. There is a Finnish sauna, a steam room, a salt room, infrared cabins and a jacuzzi, and massages range from aromatherapy and hot stone to a rose massage for expectant mothers. The fitness centre, with 15 machines, is open 24 hours. The hotel gives the spa’s size as about 1,200 m² on its spa page and 2,000 m² on its home page.

There are 65 rooms and suites: Junior Apartments of 32 m², Deluxe Apartments of 48 m² and a Presidential Suite of 119 m².
Eating and drinking
Restaurant Insieme mixes traditional and international dishes and is known for its breakfasts and buffet dinners. The Kamin lobby bar, at the centre of the hotel, has a panoramic view of Igman, with cakes and speciality coffee; the open-air café serves local food, cocktails and ice cream on the terrace; and the VIP Lounge Bar pours champagne and classic cocktails.
Our advice: book a Deluxe Apartment, ask for the shuttle to Bjelašnica in the morning, and swim lengths in the 25-metre pool before a nightcap in the VIP lounge.
