Hotel Nomad stands at 1,460 metres in Babin Do, the base of Bjelašnica, with direct ski-in, ski-out access on the Olympic mountain. Its 51 rooms run from 28 m² to 78 m² family rooms, the 550 m² spa has a pool with mountain views, four heat rooms and three massage rooms, and the gastro pub opens straight onto the slope.

On the Olympic mountain

Nomad stands in Babin Do at 1,460 metres, at the foot of the slopes that hosted the 1984 Winter Olympics, and you ski straight to and from the door. The gastro pub is reached directly from the piste.

The spa

The spa and wellness area covers 550 m². The pool, of fresh water at 26–28 °C, looks out to the mountain trails; the hotel gives its length as 14 m in one place and 20 × 8 m in another. There is a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, a steam bath, a Turkish bath and a Kneipp bath, a relaxation zone, a fitness studio, and three massage rooms staffed by physiotherapists for massages, facials, manicures and pedicures.

The spa is open daily, 08:00–22:00. From 19:00 it is for adults only; children under 16 can use the pool until then, while the saunas and gym are for adults. Treatments are booked ahead.

Rooms

There are 51 rooms. Superior rooms of 28 m² face the slope, the street or the park; Superior and Premium rooms of 33 m² look to the mountains; Deluxe twins of 45 m² face the forest; and family rooms of 56 m² and 78 m² sleep up to seven. The Nomad wellness apartments add a full kitchen and a separate living area.

Eating and drinking

The gastro pub cooks local Bjelašnica dishes with local wine, on a terrace overlooking Babin Do.

Our advice: book a Superior room with a slope view, ski until the lifts close, then take the adults-only spa session after 19:00 and dinner in the gastro pub.
