About Hotel Palace Sinaia

Hotel Palace opened in 1911 in the French neoclassical style and stands in the centre of Sinaia at the entrance to Dimitrie Ghica Park, close to the Casino. It has an indoor heated pool open all year, dry and wet saunas, a jacuzzi, and the Palace restaurant looking over the park.

A landmark of 1911

The Palace opened in 1911, in the French neoclassical style, and remains one of Sinaia’s architectural landmarks. It stands at the entrance to Dimitrie Ghica Park in the centre of town, close to the Casino, the monastery and the railway station, so you can arrive by train and walk to your room.

Pool and saunas

The hotel has an indoor heated pool, open all year and suitable for all ages, with a dry sauna, a wet sauna and a jacuzzi, and massages on request. Access is charged per person per day.

An architectural landmark of the resort, in the hotel’s words, since 1911.

Rooms

Superior doubles measure 18 m² and Superior twins 24 m²; Superior studios add a sofa bed for a third guest, and the Superior apartments, 82 m² with two double beds, sleep four.

Eating and drinking

Restaurant Palace serves breakfast and dishes with Romanian and international influences, with a view of Dimitrie Ghica Park.

Our advice: book a Superior apartment for a family, take the gondola up from town for the skiing, and walk back through the park for a swim before dinner.
