About Eden Hotel Bormio
The Eden is a modern four-star design hotel a few steps from Bormio’s historic centre and the ski lifts, built of wood, glass and stone to strict sustainability criteria. Its rooms and suites are clad in organic European larch, and the Wellness Room is booked for private use of the sauna and Turkish bath, with massages on request.
Wood, glass and stone
The Eden is a design hotel in Valtellina, a modern four-star complex a few steps from the historic centre of Bormio and the lifts. It describes itself as home and hotel at the same time, built in pure materials, wood, glass and stone, on a clean, linear plan.
The Wellness Room
Wellness here is private. You book the Wellness Room for exclusive use of the sauna and Turkish bath, a session of one hour and twenty minutes with soft towels, loungers, herbal tea and background music. Massages can be added, and there is an outdoor corner to enjoy sun and cool air. For a bigger thermal day, Bormio’s thermal baths are close by.

Rooms and suites
Every room and suite is clad in organic European larch, with clean lines and leather upholstery; the rooms are non-smoking and have no air conditioning. The Eden Suite has a bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and a small living room that can be closed off with a sliding door; the Alpine Chalet is a tiny apartment on two levels, with a kitchenette below and a four-poster bed under exposed beams above. There are also a Family Suite, a Duplex Suite, Garden Suites and a Junior Suite.
Breakfast and services
The Eden works in the spirit of a B&B, with breakfast in the house and Bormio’s restaurants on the doorstep, and a covered garage for cars.
Our advice: book the Alpine Chalet or a Garden Suite, reserve the Wellness Room for the late afternoon, and walk into the old town for dinner.
