About The St. Regis Deer Valley
The St. Regis Deer Valley stands above Park City on Deer Valley Drive East, where a private funicular carries guests from the lobby up to the slopes. It has the 14,000 sq ft St. Regis Spa, a heated split-level infinity pool, butler service for suite guests and five restaurants and bars, among them RIME and La Stellina.
Above Park City
The St. Regis Deer Valley sits on the mountainside above Park City, at 2300 Deer Valley Drive East. The hotel calls itself the only true ski-in/ski-out hotel in Deer Valley, and its private funicular carries guests from the grand lobby to the slopes. Rooms, suites and residences open onto mountain views, and the Astor house car runs guests anywhere within Park City limits from 8am to 10pm, on request and subject to availability.
The St. Regis Spa
The spa covers 14,000 sq ft at 8,000 feet, with eleven treatment rooms and four spa lounges of deep seating, drinks and light bites. Treatments run from massage and facials to body treatments, with a collection named after Caroline Astor and a Deep Sleep Journey for the evening. Morning yoga is open to all guests, and afterwards you choose between the outdoor tubs and an enclosed spa tub.
The only true ski-in/ski-out Deer Valley hotel, in the hotel’s words.
The spa opens daily from 10am to 6pm. Massages, body treatments and the relaxation and locker areas are for guests aged 18 and over, and a 20% service charge is added to each treatment.
The pool
The heated split-level infinity pool is open all year, with hot tubs beside it, indoor and outdoor relaxation tubs, and food and drink served poolside.
Rooms and suites
Rooms and suites have fireplaces, marble bathrooms and mountain views, and suite guests have the St. Regis Butler Service. Suites run from Valley View and Mountainside View Suites to the Astor Corner View Suite, the Summit Lofts and the Snow Park Presidential, and the Snow Park and Resort Residences add larger homes for families. Pets are welcome, with their own bed, bowls and a turndown treat.
Eating and drinking
RIME serves American dinners of seafood and prime cuts, with a 10,000-bottle wine cellar behind it. Brasserie 7452 is a light-filled lounge of French comfort food for all ages, and La Stellina cooks Italian dishes in a room of mosaic floors and black-and-white prints. The St. Regis Bar, for over-21s, pours the house Bloody Mary on the Mountain Terrace, and the Wine Vault serves wines by the glass, with two private vaults for dinners. Each day brings the St. Regis rituals: the Bloody Mary, the evening ritual with sabrage on the terrace, and s’mores.
Our advice: ride the funicular up for the first lifts, book a treatment for late afternoon before the spa closes at 6pm, and take a table at RIME for dinner.
