Trail’s End Lodge sits at the base of Deer Valley’s slopes in the Snow Park area, beside Snow Park Lodge. Its one- to four-bedroom residences have private outdoor hot tubs and stone fireplaces, with ski-in/ski-out access, ski valet, an outdoor heated pool and a full hot breakfast.

At the Snow Park base

Trail’s End Lodge stands at 2100 Deer Valley Drive South, in the Snow Park base area, at the foot of Deer Valley’s slopes and close to Snow Park Lodge. Deer Valley Resort manages it, and its common areas have been newly renovated.

Pool and hot tubs

This is a residence lodge rather than a spa hotel. The draw is the private outdoor hot tub that comes with each residence, together with an outdoor heated pool and a fitness centre.

The residences

Residences have one to four bedrooms, bright woodsy interiors, stone fireplaces and generous living areas. Each one is individually owned, so layouts vary; a specific residence can be requested when booking.

Ski services and breakfast

Ski-in/ski-out access with ski storage and valet makes mornings easy, a full hot breakfast is served, and there is an après-ski scene on site. Concierge services, daily housekeeping and transport are part of the stay. Snow Park Restaurant and Deer Valley Café are close by.

Our advice: Trail’s End suits families who want space and their own hot tub at the base; book a larger residence for groups, and note that Deer Valley is a skiers-only mountain.
