Aries stands on quiet Zaruskiego street in the centre of Zakopane, a short walk from Krupówki. Aries SPA has an indoor pool with hydromassage seats, two covered outdoor jacuzzis open all year, five saunas, a cold-water tub and nine treatment rooms, and the rooms climb to the 53 m² Tatra Suite with a terrace facing Giewont.

In the heart of Zakopane

Aries stands at Zaruskiego 5, on a quiet street in the centre of town, a short walk from Krupówki. It is a family hotel at the foot of the mountains, with a concierge, a kids’ club and play area with its own LEGO room, and its restaurant, Halka.

Aries SPA

The indoor pool has underwater loungers and hydromassage seats, and outside are two covered jacuzzis, open all year. The sauna circuit runs from a classic dry sauna and a Finnish sauna to a birch sauna, a salt sauna and a steam bath, with a cold-water tub to finish. Nine private treatment rooms offer classic, oriental and Thai massage, signature rituals such as the Aries massage with cranberry, facials and body treatments with Selvert Thermal and Comfort Zone, and a Head SPA ritual with Davines. The VIP couples’ room has a fireplace, an infrared sauna and a hydromassage bath. Children have their own spa menu, and the gym is open to hotel guests throughout the stay.

Rooms and suites

There are seven room types. Premiere doubles measure 20–27 m², Executive doubles 30–36 m², and Renaissance doubles 30 m² with a balcony and ceilings painted by Barbara Brzozowska. The Aries Suite, 34–40 m², has a separate living room; the Grand Aries Suite 44–52 m². The Family Chalet Suite, 50 m² on two levels, is fitted in the Zakopane style with wooden stairs, and the Tatra Suite, 53 m², has a fireplace lounge and a terrace with a view of Giewont.

Eating and drinking

Halka is a restaurant in its own right rather than a hotel dining room, with signature dishes and desserts, and breakfasts of regional cheeses, cold cuts and pancakes. Le Scandale is the hotel’s club and bar.

Our advice: book the Tatra Suite for the terrace or the Family Chalet Suite with children, end the ski day in the outdoor jacuzzis, and try the Head SPA ritual.
