About The Village at Palisades Tahoe
The Village at Palisades Tahoe is the ski area’s own lodging, slopeside within walking distance of the lifts, restaurants and shops of the European-style Village. Its privately owned condominium suites of 523–1,786 sq ft have a bathroom for every bedroom and most have a kitchen and fireplace, and guests share eight outdoor hot tubs, a sauna and a gym.
In the Village
The Village at Palisades Tahoe, at 1750 Village East Road, sits in the heart of the ski area’s base, within walking distance of the lifts, restaurants, shops, après and year-round events. Stone walkways run through a European-style village of boutiques and restaurants, and the Aerial Tram rises to High Camp with its views of Lake Tahoe.
Hot tubs and sauna
There is no spa, but lodging guests have eight outdoor hot tubs in the base area, a sauna and a gym, ski and sport lockers and a media room with a big screen and game consoles.
There’s no better way to experience Palisades Tahoe than staying slopeside in The Village, in the resort’s words.
The suites
These are luxury condominium suites of 523 to 1,786 sq ft, with a full bathroom for every bedroom, heated slate floors in kitchens and bathrooms and, in most units, a gas fireplace, kitchen and private balcony; three-bedroom units have their own washer and dryer. Standard rooms have none of the fireplace, kitchen or balcony, and studios have a fireplace and kitchen but no balcony. Units are privately owned, so furnishings vary, and central air conditioning is absent, though Premier suites have units in each room.
Included
A daily resort charge covers parking for one car in the underground garage, wifi, spa towels, the 24-hour front desk, board and Xbox games and in-room coffee. There is no airport shuttle; the resort recommends the North Lake Tahoe Express, and the drive takes about 45 minutes.
Our advice: book a Premier suite with a fireplace and kitchen, walk to the lifts in the morning and finish the day in the outdoor hot tubs.
