About The Landing Tahoe Resort & Spa
The Landing Resort & Spa stands on the shore of South Lake Tahoe, a few minutes from Heavenly Village. Its renovated rooms and suites all have stone gas fireplaces, and the resort adds The Spa, a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, a rooftop deck and Lakeside Dining on the water.
On the shore of South Lake Tahoe
The Landing sits on the lakefront in South Lake Tahoe, close to the life of Heavenly Village yet secluded beside its semi-private beach; guests receive two passes a day to the beach. Local hotel transport is available, ski services are included in the resort fee, and in summer there are bicycles to borrow.
The Spa
The Spa uses organic products and natural botanicals, with massages from deep tissue to hot stone, foot reflexology, facials and body wraps, and a Healing Arts menu of therapies from around the world. Treatment tables are heated, there is a couples’ treatment room and two private steam-shower rooms. It opens from 10am to 6pm Sunday to Thursday and to 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

The heated outdoor pool and hot tub, with an accessible chair lift, are part of the resort fee, and there is a fitness centre, a lakeview patio with fire pits and a rooftop deck with a fireplace.
Rooms and suites
Every room has been freshly renovated, with rich wood, a stone gas fireplace, heated bathroom floors, a European rain shower and a Lavazza espresso machine. Standard Kings measure 260 sq ft and Gardenview Kings, in corner positions with forest views, 390 sq ft. The Premier Lakefront Studio, 480 sq ft, has an oversized balcony over the water, and the One-Bedroom Lakefront Suite is 1,065 sq ft. Premier rooms guarantee a bathtub and a balcony. Dogs are welcome in some rooms.
Eating and drinking
Lakeside Dining has an intimate dining room that opens onto a patio lined with fire pits, with locally sourced, seasonal menus for brunch and dinner. Its 1,500-bottle wine vault holds classic labels and rare Mediterranean and Californian wines, and the granite-and-onyx bar pours 100 spirits and local beers on tap. The Terrace Bar opens from 2pm until sunset.
Our advice: book a Premier Lakefront Studio for the balcony over the lake, ski Heavenly by day, and end with dinner by the fire pits on the patio.
