About Grand Hotel Murgavets
Grand Hotel Murgavets is a four-star in the centre of Pamporovo, in the Rhodopes, 85 km from Plovdiv. Its top suites have their own saunas and panoramic views, its Mountain Relax & Vitality Center has two indoor pools, a hammam and a salt sauna, and it has the Murgavets à la carte restaurant, a rooftop café and a winter night bar.
In the centre of Pamporovo
Murgavets stands in the middle of the resort, 15 km from Smolyan, 85 km from Plovdiv and 260 km from Sofia. One-bedroom suites have two terraces and a view of Snezhanka peak.
The spa
The Mountain Relax & Vitality Center has two indoor pools, kept at 29–30 °C all year, and a thermal zone with a salt sauna, a classic sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and heated loungers, plus massage rooms and a fitness zone. Pools and fitness are open 10:00–20:00 and the thermal zone 12:00–20:00; the saunas are for guests over 14, while the pools are open to all ages. Towels, slippers and robes are provided.

Rooms and suites
Rooms run from standard and deluxe doubles with panoramic views to two-level Deluxe maisonettes and one-bedroom suites. The Superior Suite has its own sauna and a panoramic view, and the two-bedroom Presidential Suite adds a personal sauna too.
Eating and drinking
The Murgavets à la carte restaurant, recently renovated in mountain style, seats about 250 and cooks international dishes, Balkan grills, steaks and Rhodope specialities from mostly local, seasonal produce, with regional wines. Breakfast and dinner are served as a buffet. The lobby bar pours cocktails and wine, Dolce Vista is the rooftop café-patisserie with panoramic views, and Lio’s night bar opens in the ski season for après-ski.
Our advice: book the Superior Suite for your own sauna, ski Snezhanka by day, take coffee and cake at Dolce Vista, and end the night at Lio’s.
