About Hotel Rotunda: a night on Mt Chopok
Below the summit of Chopok, at 2,004 metres, the Rotunda has just three rooms, among them a Deluxe and a Family room. Its restaurant has a 360° panoramic view and an open terrace, and hotel guests are among the first on the pistes in the morning.
Above the clouds
The Rotunda stands on Chopok at 2,004 metres, by the upper cable car station that links the northern and southern sides of the mountain. It is ski-in, ski-out, and when the last skiers have gone down, the summit belongs to a handful of guests. Two tickets per night for the cable cars or the Tatralandia and Bešeňová water parks are included.
The rooms
There are three rooms only, directly below the summit: a Deluxe room for privacy in a unique location, and a Family room for a family holiday. Balconies face the sunrise.

Eating
Dinner is in the Rotunda restaurant, with a wide choice of specialities and a 360° panoramic view of Slovakia; you can step from the restaurant onto an open terrace.
Our advice: book well ahead, as three rooms go quickly, set an alarm for sunrise, and be on the piste for the first run before the lifts bring up the day’s skiers.
