About Hotel Kitzhof Mountain Design Resort
The Kitzhof is a mountain design resort on Schwarzseestraße, beside the town park and a short walk from the old town, with views to the Kitzbüheler Horn and the Streif. Its 160 rooms, studios and suites share the Kitz Spa, with a 15 × 5 m indoor pool, a sauna area looking onto a waterfall and Susanne Kaufmann treatments.
By the town park
The Kitzhof stands on Schwarzseestraße, next to the town park and five minutes’ walk from the centre, with views over the town towers to the Kitzbüheler Horn and the Streif. It calls itself a mountain design resort, alpine in feeling and generous in size.
The Kitz Spa
The indoor pool measures 15 by 5 metres. The sauna area opens onto a relaxation room with a view of a waterfall, and there are sunbathing areas and a winter garden. Treatments use Susanne Kaufmann products, and there is a fitness room with Life Fitness equipment and a separate studio for yoga and training.

Rooms and suites
There are 160 rooms, studios and suites in fourteen types. Standard doubles, Tirol, Streif and Horn, measure 25 m², and Superior doubles 27–30 m² with a rain shower and bathtub, the Streif ones facing the mountains. Junior suites are 35 m² and studios 36–44 m². Among the suites, the Lebenberg and Garden suites measure 50–55 m², the Alpin Suite 60–65 m² with a panoramic mountain view, and the south-facing Kitzhof Suite 170 m², with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with a fireplace.
Eating and drinking
The kitchen joins traditional Tyrolean cooking to international influences, using local produce, and serves it in several rooms of different character: the Weißer Hirsch, the Kaminstube, the Vinothek, the Jagdstube, the Hornstube, the Kitz Alm and the Kitz Lounge. Breakfast runs from 7.00 to 10.30, lunch from 12.00 to 14.00 and dinner from 18.00 to 21.30.
Our advice: ask for a Streif Superior room or the Alpin Suite for the mountain view, walk into the old town for the evening, and book the Kaminstube on a snowy night.
