About Bio Hotel Hermitage
Edda and Giacomino’s daughters Barbara and Marcella run the Hermitage with traditional warmth and a love of nature, in a 3,000 m² private park with the Brenta Dolomites in view. Its spa has a 30 °C panoramic pool and a Sauna World, a chalet in the park is kept for massages, and the Stube Hermitage, under Antonio Lepore, holds a MICHELIN star.
A family house in a private park
The Hermitage stands at Via Castelletto Inferiore 69, in a private park of 3,000 m², with the Brenta Dolomites close enough to touch, as the hotel puts it. It is run by the Maffei family: Edda and Giacomino, and their daughters Barbara and Marcella, and it is built on bio-architecture principles.
The panoramic spa
The pool is heated to 30 °C and looks over the garden to the Dolomites, with a counter-current, hydromassage and waterfall jets; it opens from 8.00 to 20.00. The Sauna World, open from 15.00 to 20.00, has a mountain-herb steam bath and an oriental sauna with coloured light, and after the heat you walk in fresh snow in the park with a warm drink. Children under 13 are welcome until 17.30.
The majestic Dolomites of Brenta are right there, just a step away, in the hotel’s words.
Treatments use local natural products, and couples’ massages are given in the Chalet, a wooden cabin in the park. The Private SPA can be booked each evening from 21.00 to 23.00, by guests and visitors.
Rooms and suites
Rooms face the Dolomites, most with a balcony. The Classic room measures 18 m², the Genziana 25 m² and the newly renovated Stella Alpina 30 m², with larch floors. The Mini Suite (30 m²) and the Junior Suite (35–45 m²) suit families of four, and the attic Suite (65 m²) has two bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe and a private balcony facing the Dolomites, for up to five.
Eating and drinking
The Stube Hermitage, panelled in 19th-century wood, is an elegant Alpine stube that holds a MICHELIN star. Chef Antonio Lepore cooks imaginative dishes from local ingredients, blending modern and traditional Mediterranean cooking, and the Stube is open to outside guests.
Our advice: book a Junior Suite or the attic Suite for the Dolomites, take the Private SPA one evening, and reserve the Stube for your last night.
