About Merjasec hut
Planinska koča Merjasec is run by the Vogel lift company a short walk from the upper cable-car station. It cooks traditional Bohinj dishes: freshly baked bread, the shepherd’s lunch of potatoes with cottage cheese, veal ajmoht, goulash with trdinka polenta, polenta with porcini and buckwheat dumplings with walnuts, honey and caramelised apples.
