Built in 1969 by the mountain guide Lorenzo Lorenzi and still run by his family, Rifugio Scoiattoli faces the Cinque Torri. It serves Ampezzo dishes with imagination; in winter you can ride the illuminated chairlift up for dinner and sledge down, by reservation.
