About Kujala Reindeer Farm
Kujala Reindeer Farm dates from 1860 and is run by the fifth generation of reindeer herders, about halfway from Kuusamo to Ruka. All reindeer programmes are guided and booked in advance; the reindeer centre, opened in 2022, brings together herding, farm history, art, handicrafts and wild food, and the farm shop sells reindeer products made on the spot.
