About Meliá Sol y Nieve
Meliá Sol y Nieve stands on Plaza de Pradollano, 100 metres from Sierra Nevada’s main lifts and half an hour from Granada. It has the YHI Spa with a heated pool, The Level floor of suites with terrace whirlpools, the fireside Arado restaurant, a buffet, a sun terrace and the Q-Lounge for après-ski, with ski hire, storage and a ski school in the hotel.
In Pradollano
The hotel faces Plaza de Pradollano, the heart of the resort, 100 metres from the main lifts; Granada is 38 km away. It has ski hire, ski storage and a ski school of its own.
The YHI Spa
The YHI Spa is the hotel’s après-ski: a heated pool, a water circuit and massages, with a hot bath from which to watch the snow fall. The spa and pool are charged as extras. The Technogym gym is open 24 hours for guests over 16, with a personal trainer available.

Rooms and The Level
Rooms are in rustic alpine style with Rituals toiletries, from Meliá Rooms of 205 ft² (about 19 m²) to Deluxe Mountain View rooms, family rooms with bunk beds and connecting rooms. The Level, Meliá’s VIP floor, adds suites: The Level Suite of 484 ft² (about 45 m²), a Junior Suite and a two-bedroom suite with a whirlpool on the terrace, and the Grand Suite, 62 m² inside with a 55 m² private terrace and whirlpool.
Eating and drinking
Arado is the cosy restaurant with a fireplace, for Spanish cooking at lunch and dinner; the Buffet cooks to order with local produce. The Sun Terrace is a solarium with mountain views, and the Q-Lounge, with its terrace over the slopes, has live music every night.
Families
The Mini Club runs activities for children aged 5–10, from workshops to cinema and mini-chef sessions, and the Teens Club takes 10–16-year-olds.
Our advice: book a Junior Suite on The Level for the terrace whirlpool, ski from the plaza, and finish the day with live music at the Q-Lounge.
