SkiStar runs Åre’s three ski areas. Åre village has a low zone of red and black World Cup runs below the tree line and a high zone reached by the cable car and the VM8 gondola, with easier blues and greens towards Ullådalen and Rödkullen. Åre Björnen has green and blue slopes and is linked to the rest by two chairlifts; Duved and Tegefjäll, at the foot of Mullfjället, have wide, sheltered red and blue runs and good tree skiing after snowfall. For 2026/27 a new 1,000-metre lift returns to the upper slopes of Åreskutan.
