About The Hotel Telluride
The Hotel Telluride is a boutique chalet with a European feel in downtown Telluride, surrounded by the San Juan Mountains. Its rooms all have balconies or decks, and it has outdoor hot tubs on its sundeck, treatment rooms run by Telluride Spa Concierge and the West End Bistro beside the lobby fireplace.
Telluride’s Living Room
The hotel stands on North Cornet Street in the historic town, and calls its lobby, with the town’s only lobby fireplace, Telluride’s Living Room: a place for coffee, a beer, a fresh-baked cookie and live music, where guests and locals meet. A seasonal shuttle runs you to the gondola and around town, and in spring, summer and autumn cruiser bikes are included for guests.
Hot tubs and spa
The outdoor hot tubs, on the sundeck, are open from 6am to 10pm. Telluride Spa Concierge runs the hotel’s quiet treatment rooms, with therapists available from 9am to 8pm every day for custom massages, organic ISUN facials and enhancements; book a week ahead in high season. The fitness centre, also open from 6am to 10pm, has cardio equipment, weights and a changing room with a steam shower.
Telluride’s Living Room, in the hotel’s words.
Rooms and suites
Every room has a balcony or deck, with custom triple-sheeted beds, plush robes, a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Luxury rooms measure 320–380 sq ft, Oversized Luxury rooms 379–425 sq ft with a sleeper sofa, Junior King Suites 465 sq ft with a living area and wet bar, and the one-bedroom suite, the hotel’s most exclusive room, 850 sq ft, with a Jacuzzi tub and two balconies. Well-behaved pets are welcome.
Eating and drinking
The West End Bistro serves casual American cuisine in a lodge setting, with breakfast daily from 7.30am to 10am and dinner from 5pm to 9pm in season; the restaurant closes in the spring and autumn off-seasons. Ski and snowboard valet and storage are included for guests.
Our advice: book a Junior King Suite for the space, take the shuttle to the gondola each morning, and end the day in the sundeck hot tubs before dinner by the lobby fire.
