In winter the VY51 runs from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to Hemsedal on Sundays, first stopping at Gol and then at several places in Hemsedal, including SkiStar Lodge Hemsedal; tell the driver where you are staying. In 2025/26 it left the airport at 2.30pm and 6.30pm, and the adult fare was NOK 1,000 return or NOK 700 one way. It runs only on bookings made at least 24 hours in advance, at vy.no.
