Radisson Blu Resort Trysil stands at the foot of Trysilfjellet, in the heart of Turistsenteret, with the slopes, children’s areas and cross-country tracks at the door. It has an indoor Adventure Pool of four pools and a glass climbing wall, the Alpine Spa with a hot pool, Finnish sauna and Turkish steam room, bowling, Brasserie T, La Piazza and a fireside Lobby Bar.

At the foot of the mountain

The Radisson Blu stands at the foot of Trysilfjellet, about 120 metres from the slopes, in Norway’s largest ski destination, with more than 100 km of cross-country tracks. In summer the hotel turns to biking at Trysil Bike Arena, golf at Trysilfjellet Golf next door, hiking, rafting and riding.

Pools and spa

The indoor Adventure Pool has four swimming pools and a glass rock-climbing wall. The Alpine Spa, with access sold separately, has a hot pool, a Finnish sauna and a Turkish steam room, and there is a fitness centre.

Rooms and suites

Standard rooms measure 28 m², Family rooms 46 m² with a queen bed, a Murphy bed and a sofa bed, and Trysil Prestige Apartments 46 m². The Alpine Suite has 125 m². Ten rooms take pets.

Eating and drinking

Hill serves the breakfast buffet, 7–10.30am, and a dinner buffet. Brasserie T, in one of the best spots on the mountain, is an international brasserie with a touch of Trysil; La Piazza serves Italian favourites and pizza; Chill Bowl & Dine pairs food with bowling lanes; and the Lobby Bar pours cocktails by the fire.

Meetings

The conference centre covers 1,250 m², in ten rooms for five to 500 people.

Our advice: book a Family room, give the children an afternoon in the Adventure Pool, and keep the Alpine Spa and dinner at Brasserie T for the adults.
