About The Arrabelle at Vail Square
The Arrabelle at Vail Square, a RockResort, is a ski-in, ski-out hotel in Lionshead Village, steps from the Eagle Bahn Gondola. It pairs a 10,000 sq ft RockResorts Spa and a rooftop pool with the life of Vail Square, where an open-air ice rink fills the plaza in winter.
On Vail Square in Lionshead
The Arrabelle is the centrepiece of Lionshead Village, at the western end of Vail. The Eagle Bahn Gondola is steps away, so you ski in and out, and a slopeside ski and boot valet stores your equipment. In winter the plaza below becomes an open-air ice rink with fire pits; in summer it hosts an amphitheatre with concerts, and shops, restaurants and après-ski are all on the doorstep.
The RockResorts Spa
The spa covers 10,000 sq ft and has 11 treatment rooms: esthetician and body treatment areas, seven massage and dry treatment rooms, wet rooms with Vichy and Swiss showers, and a couples’ treatment room. The men’s and women’s locker rooms each have a whirlpool, steam room and dry sauna, and there is a large co-ed relaxation lounge, a full-service nail salon and a fitness centre with personal-trainer consultations.

On the roof, the heated pool is open all year, with a lap pool and hot tubs looking up at the mountain.
Rooms and residences
Rooms and suites are dressed in a warm Alpine style, and the property includes residences for families and groups. A ski concierge, ski rental and grocery shopping service make the larger units easy to live in for a week, and there is a playground for children.
Beyond the slopes
Guests have access to the Red Sky Golf Club in summer, and the hotel is mountain-bike friendly, with bike storage. A covered escalator leads from the square to the shopping streets, and the town bus connects Lionshead with Vail Village.
Our advice: ask for a room facing the mountain or the square, take the rooftop pool at sunset after skiing, and book the spa’s couples’ room for a rest day. In December the ice rink below your window is the most cheerful view in Vail.
