About Experimental Chalet Verbier
Experimental Chalet Verbier faces the Grand Combin in the heart of the resort, with 39 rooms and suites designed by Milanese architect Fabrizio Casiraghi. Its Spa by Biologique Recherche has three treatment rooms, a hammam, a sauna, a cold plunge and a terrace jacuzzi, and evenings move from the Experimental Cocktail Club to St Bernard and The Farm Club.
A hideaway in Verbier
Experimental Chalet faces the Grand Combin from the front and Verbier’s slopes from the back. Inside, Milanese architect Fabrizio Casiraghi drew on mountain lodges and mid-century ski resorts: jewel tones, sorbet notes and lacquered wood. Experimental began as a Paris cocktail bar in 2007; Verbier is one of its hotels.
The spa
The spa, on the first floor, works with Biologique Recherche, with three treatment rooms, a hammam, a sauna and a cold plunge. Outside, a jacuzzi on the terrace looks over the snowy mountains, with loungers in the sun.

Rooms and suites
There are 39 rooms and suites. Classic rooms of around 18 m² are in forest green and brass; Superior rooms of 21 m² sit on the upper floors with baths, some with terraces facing the Grand Combin; Deluxe rooms with terrace are 24 m² and Junior Suites 34 m². On the top floor, the Verbier Suite (46 m², up to four) has a fireplace and a terrace jacuzzi, and the Panorama Suite (60 m²) has three terraces and a jacuzzi.
Eating and drinking
St Bernard is a contemporary chalet restaurant where chef Rudy Ballin cooks Valais culture, mountain cheeses, local meats and Swiss wine. The Experimental Cocktail Club pours classics and Alpine twists by the fire, and The Farm Club, opened in 1971 by Serafino and Giuseppe Berardi, is a Verbier nightlife institution.
Our advice: book the Verbier Suite for the terrace jacuzzi, start the evening by the fire at the Cocktail Club, and end it at The Farm.
