Hotel Rezia stands in the historic centre of Bormio, a few steps from the thermal baths and the shops, and is open all year. Its rooms are in pine wood and mountain stone, in the main building and an adjacent chalet; it has a private spa with Finnish sauna, Turkish bath and sensory showers, a gym and two restaurants of Valtellina cooking.

In the old town

The Rezia stands in the historic centre of Bormio, a few steps from the thermal baths and the shops, and opens all year. With its warm atmosphere and Alpine character, it is a base for the ski slopes in winter and the Stelvio National Park in summer.

The private spa

The spa is booked for exclusive use: a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath, sensory showers and a relaxation area, for up to four people from the same room. It carries an extra charge, and is for guests aged 16 and over. There is also a gym, included and booked at reception.

Rooms

Rooms are in pine wood and mountain stone, with parquet. Standard rooms are in the main building, some with balconies, or in the chalet, where they feel like a mountain refuge; Superior rooms are larger, with big balconies over the centre of Bormio; and there are family rooms. The Junior Suites, renovated in 2021, sleep up to four.

Eating and drinking

There are two restaurants, one open to the public, with traditional Valtellina recipes, local produce and table service; breakfast runs from 7.30am to 10am and dinner from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. The lounge bar serves herbal teas and aperitifs.

Our advice: ask for a Superior room with a balcony over the town, book the private spa for after skiing, and walk to the thermal baths on a rest day.
