Lodge Park Hotel & Spa, formerly Park Piolets, is a five-star in the heart of Soldeu, opposite Grandvalira. Every room faces outward with a balcony or terrace, the spa covers more than 1,000 m² with a heated indoor pool and views of the slopes, and the restaurants include KAO Soldeu for Chinese haute cuisine and Don Giovanni for Italian.

In the heart of Soldeu

Lodge Park stands on the main road through Soldeu, facing the Grandvalira ski area, and every room looks outward to the mountains from a balcony or terrace. The hotel was formerly known as Park Piolets Mountain Hotel & Spa.

The spa

The spa covers more than 1,000 m², with a large water area, seven treatment cabins, a gym and studios, and windows onto the ski slopes. The water area has a heated indoor pool with massage jets, a dry sauna and a Turkish bath, sensation and contrast showers, an indoor contrast bath, an infrared zone, a children’s pool and a relaxation area, and the water is treated with natural magnesium salts. Treatments use Alqvimia, Esse and Dulkamara products, and the Green Salon handles hair, make-up and manicures.

The spa runs adult-only Spa Relax sessions, 10:00–12:00 and 18:00–21:00, and Spa Family sessions, 12:00–18:00 in two-hour slots, when children may come with an adult. Treatments run 10:00–21:00. Entry is booked in advance, and hotel guests pay a daily spa fee.

Rooms

Premium rooms measure 26 m² and Deluxe rooms 27 m², with a terrace and mountain views and a premium minibar included; Junior Suites measure 39 m² with a large terrace, and Suites 46 m², with two separate areas and two smart TVs.

Eating and drinking

KAO Soldeu brings Chinese haute cuisine from the Kao family’s Barcelona restaurants, and Don Giovanni, under chef Andrea Tumbarello, is the Italian, for truffles, fresh pasta and pizza; both serve lunch and dinner. The buffet restaurant does Mediterranean show cooking with mountain views. The Lounge Bar, designed by Pilar Líbano, has sofas by the fireplace and is open from 11:00 to midnight, and the Champagne Bollinger Terrace has outdoor fireplaces in winter and live performances.

Our advice: book a Junior Suite for the big terrace, ski until the lifts close, then go for the adults’ evening spa session. Reserve KAO or Don Giovanni ahead, and finish by the fire on the Bollinger terrace.
