About Alpenhotel Kramerwirt
The Alpenhotel Kramerwirt in Mayrhofen has welcomed guests since 1674 and is run by the Kröll family. Its roof spa on the fourth floor has a panorama whirlpool facing the Zillertal Alps, saunas, a steam bath and infrared cabins, and its restaurant serves Tyrolean and Austrian cooking in eight Stuben.

The Kramerwirt is one of Mayrhofen’s oldest houses, with a history of hospitality reaching back to 1674, and the Kröll family runs it today. Its restaurant, as the hotel says, is one of the most traditional in the region.
The roof spa
The spa is on the fourth floor, under the roof. A panorama whirlpool looks out to the Zillertal Alps, and there are saunas, a steam bath, infrared cabins and quiet rooms. Massages run from 25-minute partial-body and sports massages to the 85-minute Feel Good treatment. Children under 15 are not admitted to the spa and sauna areas.

Rooms and suites
Rooms range from Economy and Comfort doubles (18–20 m²) to the Superior double of 30 m². The Pine Wood Suite measures 40 m² and the Family Suite 45 m², each for up to four. Apartments are let in the Försterhaus across the street and in the Haus der Mitte.
Eating and drinking
The restaurant serves traditional Tyrolean cooking, Austrian classics and international dishes all day until 22.00, in eight Stuben: the Bauernstube, Zirbenstube, Kröllstube, Europastube, Familienstube, Ahnenstube, Götestube and Bürgerstube. Half board is available.
Families
The hotel offers guided hikes in the Zillertal Alps nature park, sometimes with a visit to its cows on the Penken farm, and snowshoe walks in winter for children from age 8. High chairs, cots and baby carriers are available on request.
Our advice: book the Pine Wood Suite, end the ski day in the rooftop whirlpool, and ask for a table in the Zirbenstube.
