About Four Seasons Resort Megève
Four Seasons Resort Megève stands at 1,300 metres on the slopes of Mont d’Arbois, ski-in and ski-out in winter and on the golf course in summer. It has 55 rooms and suites, a spa with six treatment rooms and a heated indoor-outdoor pool, a wine cellar of more than 17,000 bottles and restaurants from Benjamin to Idéal 1850 on the summit.
On Mont d’Arbois
The resort sits at 1,300 metres on Mont d’Arbois, with ski-in, ski-out access in winter and direct access to the golf course and Alpine trails in summer. A ski valet and ski concierge look after equipment and passes all season.
The spa
The spa calls itself one of the largest in the French Alps. Its heated pool runs indoors and out, so you swim from the spa’s quiet into the mountain air, all year. There is a sauna, a steam room and a relaxation room, and six treatment rooms, including a VIP suite, for Alpine-inspired massages, facials, sound baths with Tibetan bowls and gongs, a hair spa and a barber. Younger guests have their own Kids’ and Teens’ Spa menu. The spa opens from 9am to 9pm, and the Technogym fitness centre is open around the clock.
One of the largest luxury spa facilities in the French Alps, in the resort’s words.
Rooms and suites
There are 55 accommodations: 41 rooms and 14 suites, many with balconies over the mountains. Superior rooms measure 35–37 m², Deluxe 38–54 m² and Premium rooms 42–44 m² for families. One-Bedroom Suites run from 69–91 m², and the specialty suites climb from the Suite Rochebrune (81 m²) through the Mont d’Arbois (119 m²), the Aravis (141 m²) and the three-bedroom Suite des Alpes (166 m²) to the Suite Mont Blanc, 359 m² for up to twelve.
Eating and drinking
Benjamin serves precise French cooking from chef Armando Acquaviva, with desserts by Jonathan Chapuy. Kaito is a Nikkei restaurant, Japanese with Peruvian flavours, with direct access to the slopes. Edmond’s serves bistro dishes all day, and a pop-up fondue runs under a geodesic dome. At 1,850 metres on the summit, Idéal 1850 looks to Mont Blanc for lunch on the slopes. The Glass Bar was made by the glass sculptor Gilles Chabrier, there is a cigar room with floor-to-ceiling windows, and the cellar holds more than 17,000 bottles.
Our advice: book a room with a balcony facing Mont Blanc, swim from the indoor pool out into the cold at dusk, and ski to Idéal 1850 for lunch.
