About Francesin Active Hotel
The Francesin is the Ponti-Zini family’s four-star active hotel, directly opposite the ski lifts and a few steps from the centre, the cycle path and the cross-country track. Its spa has an indoor pool joined to a heated outdoor tub, Finnish and bio saunas, a Turkish bath, an ice waterfall and a massage room, with a gym and fitness area.
Opposite the lifts
The Francesin calls itself Livigno’s first Active Hotel. It is run by the Ponti-Zini family, directly opposite the ski lifts and a few steps from the centre, the cycle path and the cross-country track; the climbing wall, the skating rink and the Livigno museum are all within 150 metres.
Wellness and spa
The spa is reached directly from the rooms. The indoor pool has hydromassage stations and water jets and connects to a heated outdoor tub with a mountain view. There is a Finnish sauna at 85–90 °C, a bio sauna at 45–60 °C scented with hay and chamomile, a Turkish bath at 40–45 °C, emotional showers, an ice waterfall, a relaxation room with mountain views and an outdoor garden. A dedicated room handles massages and beauty treatments.

Rooms and suites
Rooms are compact but well thought out. Superior doubles measure about 18 m², and the Spa Double (about 23 m²) has its own infrared sauna and hydromassage tub. Panorama rooms, 27–35 m², have 3-metre panoramic windows and large balconies. On the third floor, the Junior Suite with infrared sauna (about 35 m²) and the three Junior Suites with chromotherapy hydromassage tubs (40–45 m²) are the pick; the two Panorama Suites (about 50 m²) have two bedrooms for families.
Active days
There is a gym and fitness area, ski and bike storage, and a big breakfast buffet to start the day.
Our advice: book a third-floor junior suite, ski straight from the door, and save the outdoor tub for the evening.
